Guided Bike Tour

Sacred Pedal

Move yourself by visiting both natural and human-made wonders

Transport yourself to the region of Bowen where time slows down. On bike, we will explore gentle forested trails and sleepy country roads, cruising past lily pads on lakes and grazing horses in pastures. We will make our way to several sacred sites including visiting a 1,000-year-old tree who has transcended the test of time to remind us of our own eternal state of being. On this journey, you are invited to reconnect with your own nature by experiencing the splendour of our existence.

There will also be an opportunity to cool off with an ocean dip at one of Bowen’s secluded bays with a stunning view of Howe Sound.

Once back in the Cove, we will marvel at man-made creations by enjoying a special ice cold treat at one of Bowen’s favourite hangouts.

Physical ability

All adventurers need to be in good physical health in order to fully participate. When selecting your adventure, please make sure you have read through the description carefully and assess your ability to cope with the activities involved. Please note that if, in the opinion of the instructor or guide, any participant is unable to complete the itinerary without undue risk to themselves and/or the rest of the group, Bowen Island Adventures reserves the right to exclude them from the adventure without refund.

Medical and travel insurance

Emergency Medical Insurance is recommended for all out-of-province participants. When selecting a travel insurance policy it is recommended that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses, including emergency repatriation. For multi-day adventures, we suggest the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. We recommend Covermore by Manulife Insurance for Canadian travellers.
